Painting Restoration

This year we have been doing some restoration work. Here are two paintings that have been carefully cleaned, flattened, and restored. What came in battered, warped and scratched, left looking like new artwork.

Concept Design- Bloomingdale's Market Place

These renderings were done earlier in the year for a presentation to Bloomingdale's  for a proposed European style marketplace on the 6th floor of their 57th Street Flagship location. 2D3D Design would be the exclusive designer of the marketplace for our clients Zeytinia. Zeytinia currently has 10 gourmet grocery stores in the tri-state area.  We are looking forward to working with them once again on this exciting propsition.

Japanese Lantern Reconstruction

No project is too big or too small for 2D3D. Here are two vintage Japanese lanterns 3' high x 12" diameter that were brought to us from a client in upstate, New York. They had the lanterns sitting in their basement for several years and the plain white shoji paper needed replacing.  We chose a laminated shoji paper with a slight fiber to give the lamps more personality. We cleaned them and gave them a buffing as well. A new modern feel with a beautiful glow!

We specialize in all sorts of restoration work, so feel free to send an email for more information!

The Paramus Polar Express

Recently over at Trader Joe's in Paramus, NJ, we have constructed the Paramus Polar Express. For the month of December take the opportunity to pick up your holiday sweets before the train leaves the station.

November has come to an end.

Hello Readers!
It’s been quite sometime since you’ve heard from us over at 2D3D Design, so let’s tell you what we have been up to.
Our main projects have been working with lamp designer Stacy Harshman, owner of Andarina Designs,  Jazz legend flutist and saxophone player, Frank Wess, and decor work at Trader Joe's.

Andarina Designs had a booth at BDNY, Boutique Design New York Showcase, which took place Nov 13-14th, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The focus of the show was to attract International hotel, motel and restaurant business. Not only was Andarina Designs a featured designer, they were selected to be apart of the “Trend Walk”- a
combination of themed rooms from the up and coming designers of tomorrow. It was put together by internationally renowned designer and forecaster Stacy Garcia. Specifically in the “Acid Hip” space, the 6” Cubes Of Color lit up the room for an estimated 5,000 attendees over the two days.

As Frank Wess was busy with gigs at Dizzy's and Birdland, we were working on designing his newest CD package entitled Ménage a Bleu. This recording is being released just months before his 90th birthday. We’d like to say congratulations to Frank on the album and wish him an early Happy Birthday as well! Frank is an inspiration and a jazz legend.

Over at Trader Joes in the Paramus, NJ we’ve redesigned the demo station to resemble a Jersey diner.  Since creating Joe’s Diner at the store, Rosanne has designed other displays. As the holiday season arrives she will be creating the newest addition, The Paramus Poler Express.

We are slowly but steadily getting into the habit of making weekly posts, so stay tuned!
