Hello Readers!
It’s been quite sometime since you’ve heard from us over at 2D3D Design, so let’s tell you what we have been up to.
Our main projects have been working with lamp designer Stacy Harshman, owner of Andarina Designs, Jazz legend flutist and saxophone player, Frank Wess, and decor work at Trader Joe's.
Andarina Designs had a booth at BDNY, Boutique Design New York Showcase, which took place Nov 13-14th, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The focus of the show was to attract International hotel, motel and restaurant business. Not only was Andarina Designs a featured designer, they were selected to be apart of the “Trend Walk”- a
combination of themed rooms from the up and coming designers of tomorrow. It was put together by internationally renowned designer and forecaster Stacy Garcia. Specifically in the “Acid Hip” space, the 6” Cubes Of Color lit up the room for an estimated 5,000 attendees over the two days.
As
Frank Wess was busy with gigs at Dizzy's and Birdland, we were working on designing his newest CD package entitled Ménage a Bleu. This recording is being released just months before his 90th birthday. We’d like to say congratulations to Frank on the album and wish him an early
Happy Birthday as well! Frank is an inspiration and a jazz legend.
Over at Trader Joes in the Paramus, NJ we’ve redesigned the demo station to resemble a Jersey diner. Since creating Joe’s Diner at the store, Rosanne has designed other displays. As the holiday season arrives she will be creating the newest addition, The Paramus Poler Express.
We are slowly but steadily getting into the habit of making weekly posts, so stay tuned!
